Drag-A-Box
Material Spreader Attachment
Options Overview
Overview: There are many
different methods of attaching the material spreaders to
different types of trucks. This allows the user to have
the freedom to choose the system they are most
comfortable with using.
Directions:
1) The user must decide how they wish to mount the
spreader to their truck. The specifications listed later
in this section describe the pros and cons to the
different axle and frame mounting systems. Each of these
systems also have optional components such as different
tow bars and frame brackets for transporting the
material spreader to the job site. J. Pyott and
Associates will help you determine which system is right
for you.
2) Since nearly every truck is different, a few simple
questions need to be answered and measurements must be
taken to custom fit the tow mount to your truck.
3) The questions and measurements will be used to
manufacture the parts and instructions that will help
you to mount the system to your truck.
