Universal Hitch v2

Universal Hitch v3 (pictured - Standard Hitch)

This is the standard 2 position bracket that ships with the Drag-A-Box material spreader. Additional fabrication may be required to mount this bracket to the customers truck.

Universal Pull Bar Set (Standard Hitch)

This is the standard 4” wide and 48” long set of 4 linkage bars pre-punched with a pin hole every 4 inches. This set is designed to be cut by the customer to position the spreader properly at the rear of the customers truck.

Custom Universal Hitch Mount

A specially designed frame mounting system for Drag-A-Box and Severe Duty Spreaders. This system uses customer provided measurements to allow custom mounts to be designed to fit the rear frame of the customer’s truck. This is the option for customers that want or need a spreader system that is nearly ready to go with minimum fabrication required by them.

Frame L-Bar Mini Brackets

The standard mounting pin and instructions for mounting the Contractors Duty material spreader.

L-Bar style Pull Bar Set

The standard 2 part set of L-shaped linkage bars designed for use with the Contractors Duty material spreader.

3-Point Hitch Adapter

This is an hitch adapter to allow the Severe Duty material spreader to be used with a medium size 3-point hitch.

Custom Axle Hitch, Single Axle

This is an axle bracket style mounting system for Severe Duty material spreaders. It is custom designed to fit single axle trucks using air or hydraulic brakes.

Custom Axle Hitch, Tandem Axle

This is a larger axle bracket style mounting system for Severe Duty material spreaders. It is custom designed to fit tandem axle trucks using air brakes.

Custom Frame Hitch

This is a special category of custom brackets for unusual trucks such as mini-trucks in Europe, or others that have very limited space.

Custom Pull Bar Set

This is a custom engineered and fabricated pull bar set that is designed to be ready to go with a minimum of customer work being required.

Adjustable Pull Bar Set

This is a more complex “sliding adjustable” pull bar set for use with Drag-a-box or Severe Duty material spreaders. This is a common option when the same spreader will be used on more than one truck requiring a linkage bar set to be adjustable from one truck to the other.

Truck Bed “Duck Bill”

This is a ramp or ledge that welds to the rear of a dump truck bed below the tailgate. This ramp makes the material leaving the bed of the truck land farther away from the rear of the truck. This option solves some mounting problems with very short trucks.

Truck Tail Gate Weld in Mini-Door

This is a weld-in part that creates a small door in a tailgate. This door controls material flow such as for dumping material into material spreaders that are less than the width of the truck. In these situations, material would pour into and on each side of a small spreader if the tailgate were opened and the bed dumped normally.

Truck Tail Gate Removable Mini-Door

This is a one, two, or three door assembly that attaches to the bottom of a opened tailgate and then latches into the retaining latch of the bed of the truck. Now the customer can control material flow from different areas of the truck bed.

Spreader Mounted Loading chute

This is a Severe Duty material spreader option that increases the capacity of the material spreader and acts as a Truck bed “Duck Bill”.

Spreader Mounted Electric Hoist Bracket

This is an electric lifting system for Drag-a-Box and Severe Duty material spreaders. This system mounts on the spreader, and the cable attaches to a bracket that bolts or welds to the tailgate. There is no lifting required to install this system before each use of the material spreader, but the components are more likely to get dirty or be damaged during use.

Truck Bed Mounted Battery Box and Winch Assembly

This is an electric lifting system for Drag-A-Box and Severe Duty material spreaders. This system hangs on the tailgate and the cable attaches to the material spreader. This system requires more work to install, but the assembly is out of the way of damage during use and is easy to install when there is more than one truck being used with the same spreader.

Truck Bed Chain Hook Bracket, “Bolt on”

This is a large bolt on bracket used for lifting the spreader if no chain or hook brackets are already available on the truck bed.

Truck Bed Chain Hook Bracket, “Weld on”

This is a small weld on bracket used for lifting the spreader if no chain or hook brackets are already available on the truck bed.
